Water tanks come in various types to meet different needs.
Here are some we work with:
Air Captive Tanks
Also known as bladder or pressure tanks, these use a membrane to separate air from water. The membrane keeps the air at a certain pressure, making these tanks common in domestic applications, typically available in 86-gallon and 119-gallon sizes.
Galvanized Tanks
These tanks operate similarly to air captive tanks but lack a separating membrane. Air is pressurized using a pressure switch, air volume control, check valves, and the pump. They are robust and available in larger sizes than air captive tanks.
Poly Tanks
Made from polymer-based materials, poly tanks store large volumes of water at normal atmospheric pressure. They are useful where wells cannot meet maximum water needs or where fire suppression water is legally required.
