Filtering & Treatment

Groundwater from wells often contains impurities and is not as pure as bottled glacial runoff. It’s common for well water to have sandy particulates or dissolved solids that require treatment before it can be safely used.

Here are some methods to address these impurities:

Sand Media Filters

A filtering system that uses sand as the media through which water passes in order to remove the undesired particulates.

Gravity Filters

Gravity filters utilize the forces of gravity to pull water from an upper chamber, through the filter media, and into a lower chamber.

Spin Filters

In a spin filter, water enters through the top of the filter and is spun using centrifugal force to send debris to the outside of the filter housing and then it settles at the bottom. The clean water then flows through the outlet leaving the debris behind to be flushed out.

Chemical Injection

A system designed to inject specific substances into a water stream to chemically balance and optimize it for its intended application.
